Concrete Testing Equipment | Manchester Safety Services
We have many tools available to test concrete using a variety of methods and techniques. Here are the tools we have, and their respective descriptions and uses:
• Concrete Test Cube Moulds (in both 100mm² and 150mm² sizes) - Durable, bolted concrete test cubes suitable for use on site, for casting portions of concrete. This allows the concrete to be tested when (and if) it has set, or kept for quality control purposes.
• Aluminium Concrete Scoops - Allows for the safe handling and distribution of concrete, and can be used in conjunction with other tools for the leveling, spreading and shaping of mortar and/or concrete
• Test Cube Rammers - To be used in alliance with test cube moulds. Used to safely compact concrete into the mould.
• Mould Release Oil (in both 5 litre and 25 litre sizes) - Mould release oils prevent the adhesion of freshly placed concrete to a forming surface. Our release agents are also used to prevent other materials from bonding to these surfaces, such as from the cement bonding to our test cube moulds.
• Slump Cones - Manufactured from heavy gauge steel, these act as a funnel for pouring cement into test cube moulds.
• Slump Cone Rods - Ideal for use during the 'tamping procedure' in a concrete slump test (The concrete slump test is an empirical test that measures the workability of fresh concrete.).
• Max Min Thermometers - Records both highest and lowest temperatures. Can be used in accordance with many tests, including concrete testing procedures.
• Concrete Curing Tanks - Included is a 220 volt, 3kW Heater, a mechanical thermostat, and a galvanised mesh lower rack. The thermostat is factory set to control a tank containing concrete at 20C. It is ideal for use when an economical solution is required.
• Brass Indent Rollers - Used to create non-slip patterns on concrete surfaces.
